This workshop explored the topic of integrating transportation, land use and natural systems planning. It provided a forum for planning professionals, university researchers and other stakeholders to discuss the challenges facing them in implementing integrated planning from their agency perspectives, explore lessons learned from case studies and current efforts, identify gaps in knowledge and tools that could be addressed by further research and guidance.
