Road Ecology Center goes to ICOET
 
The UC Davis Road Ecology Center worked with the Caltrans Division of Environmental Analysis under Task Order #79 to enhance the presence of California and support the participation of California speakers and participants at the ICOET 2007 in Little Rock, Arkansas, May 20-25, 2007. Several teleconference meetings were held before and after the conference to discuss areas of common concerns, enhance networking at the conference and follow up on potential action items.

Leadership
Alison Berry, Center Director, is a member of the ICOET Steering Committee

Sponsorship
The Center joined the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans)
and the Sustainable Transportation Center at ITS Davis (a UTC) to provide
sponsorship funding support to ICOET.

Special Networking Workshop on Climate Change

The UC Davis Road Ecology Center and the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) organized a networking workshop at the ICOET 2007 meeting to launch discussion in the ecology and transportation community on the important issue of climate change.
