Bio

I am a first year graduate student in the Ecology Graduate Group. I am a member of the Genomic Variation Lab with Dr. Andrea Schreier and Dr. Bernie May. I am interested in researching the impacts of roadway structures on the genetic dispersal of terrestrial mammals, with particular emphasis on the role of road induced fragmentation and isolation in large carnivores. I am currently examining to what extent major highways are acting as a barrier to population connectivity in coyotes (Canis latrans) in the Bay Area and the Sierra Nevada foothills.
