The IENE 2018 international conference will take place in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, on September 11-14, 2018. The conference title is “Crossing borders for a greener and sustainable transport infrastructure“.

The TRB conference in Washington DC is the go-to event for transportaiton enthusiasts, though there are usually few road ecology types. If you want to help swing the conference toward sustainable goals and themes, start atteding and presenting.

The IENE conference is a great chance to meet road eology scientists and practitioners from around the world. Participants at this conference rarelygo to ICOET, so if you want to meet your counter-parts from Europe, Africa, parts of Asia, and Oceania this is a good place to start.

As some of you know, the California Roadkill Observation System (http://wildlifecrossing.net/california) is starting a special study to measure rates of carcass disappearance from the roadway.

This ICOET will be held September 20-24, 2015 at the Raleigh Convention Center, Raleigh, North Carolina. ICOET is the foremost multi-disciplinary, inter-agency supported conference addressing the broad range of ecological issues related to transportation systems.

This every-other-year conference alternates with the ICOET (International Conference on Ecology and Transportation) and this year will be held in Malmo, Sweden.

This conference is the once-a-year chance to connect with a wide range of transportation scientists, engineers, policy folks, and others. It is a large conference (thousands of people and many talks and poster presentations) held in DC.

The ICOET conference is the go-to conference for road ecology scientists and practitioners, as well as for transportation engineers and policy experts interested in seeing the cutting-edge research in the field.

PlICOET provides an outstanding forum to learn what's new in road ecology, and also an opportunity to present new research findings.  ICOET 2011 was  held in Seattle, Washington and included presentations ranging from wildlife movement to water quality impacts.
