Hello! My name is Rithika Warrier, and I am a 3rd-year undergraduate student at UC Davis majoring in Environmental Science and Management. My current interests are habitat destruction and fragmentation, specifically how they impact species extinction and biodiversity loss. Because of these interests, I am pursuing the Ecology, Biodiversity, and Conservation track, hoping to ultimately establish a career in forest ecology and conservation. My love for the environment extends beyond school and into my hobbies, such as hiking, camping, and exploring national parks across the country. My goal in this center is to gain a better understanding of the ecological effects of habitat fragmentation in urban society, and I am excited about this opportunity!
